About Our Founder

A graduate of OSU College of Nursing, Bebongchu Nkemasong also known as “Bebe” in founding ALN Psych & Behavioral Health LLC, is working tirelessly to establish a health care organization that promotes physical and psychological wellbeing by providing quality care to its patients using evidence-based practice, while also providing career growth through performance and leadership.

Performing in-person and telehealth evaluations/assessments with adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders, she provides culturally competent care as related to the client’s diagnosis. Furthermore, she provides medication management and recommendations for various psychiatric conditions, orders and examines laboratory tests to gain information on patients’ mental and physical health/disorder. She is also competent in the management of substance abuse disorders/dual diagnosis presenting with other complex medical conditions. She also integrates medication management/ psychotherapy during the evaluation/assessment process.

Her background at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Progressive care unit provided her with extensive experience providing care to high acuity patients with psychiatric, cardiac, GI/GU, DM, Neuro, and respiratory diagnoses. Her clinical rotations at The Ohio State University East Total Health and Wellness, and Harding hospital adolescent unit enlightened her with additional experience during her training to be exposed to patients with various different psychiatric mental health conditions.

Being a Registered Nurse for over 17years, she moved into her new role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health (MCBH), where she focused on stabilizing patients in an acute psychiatric crisis. In her inpatient role at MCBH, she treated patients with depression, bipolar, psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, anxiety, personality, polysubstance abuse, and eating disorders.

In addition to her inpatient psychiatric role, she also worked at Viaquest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions where her clinical focus was on geriatric patients with psychiatric disorders and also individuals with developmental disabilities.

Holding a Masters of Science in Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), from OSU College of Nursing as well as having completed 20 hours of Mediation Training course with The OSU College of Law, Bebe Nkemasong has a wide range of psychiatric experience, excellent communication skills and combined with her passion for mental health, she positions herself to be a part of the solution to the mental health crisis plaguing our society.
